Other people's habits have a way of getting under our skin when we're annoyed. This has a way of doubling or even tripling in our minds when we're tired. When you're tired, nothing else matters. The only thing that matters is you getting those eight hours that you need. When you have under sleep, every problem in your life seems a lot bigger than it actually is. Your nervous system is not regulated, so you might make decisions that you wouldn't normally make on a full night's sleep. It's important to keep this in mind when dealing with others who are suffering from lack of sleep as well. We might be a little bit snippier with each other, and a little less understanding when we haven't gotten the hours that we've needed. In relationships, this can sometimes feel like a personal attack when we don't find our way around it. We should all greet each other with empathy and understanding when we can, but when we can't, we just have to move on. We can't take everything so personally all the time, or else nothing would ever get done and no relationship would survive.
